5th fittest Male 45-49 in PA CrossFit Open 2017. 2:38 Grace is my best CrossFit Workout of all time. Balancing family, careers and passion is my greatest feat of strength. CrossFit and Yoga make me better at all the things I want to be good at and provide me the energy to enjoy time with my 5 children and beautiful wife while running an amazing business with my brother in addition to Revolution Fitness with my wife. My lifestyle takes takes endurance and our programs provide me the energy and overall wellness to accomplish my goals.
QualificationsCrossFit Level 1 Certified. I am a lifelong learner and am always pursuing knowledge at a "field level" so what I lack in titles and credentials I make up for in experience. I then surround myself with those who have the formal credentials to create programs that work for real people in real life. The balance of theory in practice is where the real magic is and what we strive for at Revolution Fitness the home of Brandywine CrossFit.
A life long athlete, I did it all as a kid (back when we did not have to commit to one sport while still in the womb). By the time high school came around I was real small so wrestling was where I focused. Learned a ton about commitment, strength and conditioning and internal drive there, but struggled competitively as I grew so fast those four years which made it hard to compete. In college I found Rugby, and never looked back, playing at a high level up into my early 40's and still play around the country a few times a year in some elite level masters tournaments. My years in sports really fueled my love of training as I needed every bit of it to get on the field as I was never the biggest, fastest or most talented.
Motivation & PassionI love coaching people who commit and don't quit. That willingness to work comes in any age, size, gender or fitness level. Set a goal and be willing to work for it and I will be at your side as we crush it and move onto whatever comes next! I derive as much joy from coaching high level high school athletes who get offered a scholarship as I do a father who tells me his doctor just took him off any and all cholesterol meds.
It is about the goal setting, the work to accomplish it and the success and joy of achieving that thing. What the thing is,is your motivation not mine. My motivation is watching you put in the work and making that thing become a reality.
I also have really become amazed by female athletes over the past 15 years. As a dad of 3 girls and husband to a bad ass lady, any stigma of what a girl can and can't do is bs and I find their ability to make commitments and hold to them until they achieve what they set out to do amazing.
